One of the most representative groups of Latin rock: Aterciopelados -Led by Andrea Echeverri and Héctor Buitrago- will celebrate its 30 years of artistic career with the concert “El Dorado 2023”
The Colombian group will perform on June in many cities in Europe
Aterciopelados confirmed that he was preparing a special concert for June in Europe, to celebrate thirty years of his career. During this show they will perform live and in its entirety El Dorado, their second studio album and what is commonly considered their most important work thanks to the international projection they achieved with this work during the nineties, in the midst of the rock boom in Spanish.
Aterciopelados was created in 1990, first under the name of Delia y los Aminoácidos, and then in 1993 with the final name of Aterciopelados. The group was one of the first to mix rock with traditional folklore, creating success both in their native Colombia and abroad. In his lyrics Aterciopelados engages the public from all over the world with his message of social conscience, singing about topics such as injustice, politics, promoting women’s rights and caring for the environment.

Uno de los grupos más representativos del rock latino: Aterciopelados -Liderados por Andrea Echeverri y Héctor Buitrago- celebrará sus 30 años de carrera artística con el concierto “El Dorado 2023”
La agrupación colombiana se presentará en junio por varias ciudades de Europa
Aterciopelados confirmó que estaba preparando un concierto especial para su tour por Europa enjunio, para celebrar treinta años de carrera. Durante este show interpretarán en vivo y en su totalidad El Dorado, su segundo trabajo de estudio y el que comúnmente se considera como su trabajo más importante gracias a la proyección internacional que alcanzaron con este trabajo durante los años noventa, en pleno boom del rock en español.
Aterciopelados se creó en el año 1990, primero con el nombre de Delia y los Aminoácidos, y ya en 1993 con el nombre definitivo de Aterciopelados. El grupo fue uno de los primeros en mezclar el rock con el folklore tradicional creando un éxito tanto en su Colombia natal como fuera. En sus letras Aterciopelados involucra al público de todo el mundo con su mensaje de conciencia social, cantando sobre temas como la injusticia, la política, promoviendo los derechos de la mujer y el cuidado del medio ambiente.
